The Metro Blue Line Signal Rehabilitation and Operational Improvements Project is a Design-build project which involves the addition of 4 new track interlockings, one siding track, refurbishment of the OCS in downtown Los Angeles and Long Beach, replacement of existing OCS with new OCR at certain specific locations, rehabilitate existing mainline train control system, and the modernization of the train control system in the LACMAT Blue Line Yard (Division 11). DC Traffic Control provided maintenance of traffic services to the design build team. Our traffic control crews safely managed traffic through the work zones and along the existing rail right of way.
